Yangshuo's climate is subtropical and monsoon-influenced. The coldest time is January with an average temperature of about 9C (48F) while the warmest months are July and August with an average temperature of about 28C (82F). The best time to visit is from April to October when it is relatively mild and pleasant and the scenery is more lush and beautiful.

Tips: 1. From March to August, especially in May and June, bring an umbrella because rain is frequent.

2. During the Chinese traditional holidays especially Labor Day from May 1st to May 7th and National Day from October 1st to October 7th, tourists are out in droves. This means facilities may be crowded and rates for accommodations,transportation and other travel essentials will be higher than usual.
